Social Responsibility for OMA represents an express commitment to the well-being of our employees, their families, the communities where we operate, our clients and business partners, and to environmental protection. We turns this vision into a coherent set of policies, practices and actions in all our operations and processes.
Social Responsibility
The Social Responsibility Program has four lines of action:
- Employees and their families
Actions directed toward our employees and their families, in order to incentive their development, promote wellness, ensure their safety, and improve their educational level.
- Community
Actions directed to the communities where we operate, supporting education and community development programs.
- Airport users and business partners
Actions directed to our airport users and business partners in order to ensure their safety and to improve the quality of service.
- Environment
Actions directed to the improvement of the environment in all the locations where we have a presence.
ESR Recognition
OMA was recognized in 2008 as a Socially Responsible Company (ESR, in its Spanish initials) by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and the Business Alliance for Social Responsibility (AliaRSE).
According to CEMEFI, "The ESR award accredits the company with its employees, investors, clients, government authorities, and society in general for publicly making the commitment to socially responsible management as part of the culture and business strategy, and for having complied with the standards proposed for the four different areas of Social Responsibility: quality of life inside the company, business ethics, ties with the community, and care for and preservation of the environment."
