OMA announces the beginning of its share repurchase program

 

Monterrey, NL, Mexico, August 31, 2007—Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA, announces the start of operations of the repurchase program for its series B shares, effective today.

 

On April 27, 2007, OMA’s Annual Shareholders’ Meeting approved the creation of a Ps. 400 million reserve for the repurchase of its shares, of which Ps. 100 million was approved for use in operations during 2007.

 

The acquisition of shares will be carried out by financial institutions authorized to undertake such programs, and will be executed on the Mexican stock exchange, where OMA’s Series B shares are listed.
