Mexico City, Mexico, May 26, 2021—Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (NASDAQ: OMAB; BMV: OMA), announces that, per the request of the Mexican National Banking and Securities Commission (“CNBV”) and the Mexican Stock Exchange (“BMV”), to inform the market about the downgrade of Mexico’s Safety Rating by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) from Category 1 to Category 2, hereby informs that passenger traffic transported by Mexican airlines to and from the United States of America at the Company’s airports during 2019 and 2020 represented 2.9% and 2.8% of the total terminal passengers served at OMA’s airports; as a result, no material impact is expected in the results of the Company.
